The Bode City Council met in regular session Monday December 3, 2018 at 6PM in the council chambers. All members were present. Mayor Miller called the meeting to order, a motion was made by Douglas, second by Peterson to approve the agenda. A motion was made by Rongved, second by Douglas to approve the minutes of the previous council meeting. All ayes, motion carried.
Mayor Miller gave the City Maintenance report informing the council that the packer has been installed on the newly purchased 2005 International from HI Way truck equipment.
A motion was made by Dale, second by Tepner to approve a donation of $250 to Upper Des Moines Opportunities, this funding assist low-income, elderly, and people with disabilities within our community. All ayes, motion carried.
A motion was made by Douglas, second by Peterson to honor the 50th Anniversary of the Municipal Home Rural of Iowa, a copy of the proclamation is available at the city hall. All ayes, motion carried.
Council member Tepner informed the council that he has located Surveillance Cameras that will be installed at the community center, library/fire station, and city maintenance shop. The price for the cameras were 2 cameras for 769.99. A total of six cameras will be purchased.
